Nearby tourist destinations such as Bhimtal, Ranikhet, Almora, Kausani are nearby.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arriving in Delhi | Move to Nainital (300km-8hrs)

Arriving at the airport or railway station in Delhi, go to Nainital, the first destination – the shining jewel in the crown of Uttarakhand. Nainital, also known as the ‘Lake District of India’, is in the Himalayan Belt. The presence of Emerald Lake in the heart of the town makes it a paradise for tourist. Once you get here, check-in at the designated hotel and spend the rest of the day at your favourite activity. You can either relax in your hotel room or enjoy a boat ride on the shiny Naini Lake (at your own expense). Return to the hotel for a hearty meal and have a good night’s sleep the next morning.

Day 2 – Nainital Sightseeing

Wake up in the morning and get ready for the day’s sightseeing. Visit Hanuman Garhi, a popular religious site and picnic spot on the outskirts of town. This hill shrine was built by a saint named Neem Karoli Baba in the mid 20th century. This temple complex is not only a place of worship but also a place to see the stunning scenery all around. The comforting vistas of the sunrise and sunset from this place are famous.

Then, embark on an exciting tour of the three lakes of Bhimatal, Nuku Kuchiyatal and Satal. All these lakes are located at a short distance from each other and are known for the beautiful surroundings and sparkling waters. Although Bhimtal Lake is famous for its island, the lake at Nauru Kuchiyatal is an ideal place for birding and bird watching. The interconnected lakes of Sattal are truly mysterious and are known for their tranquil location and almost surroundings. You can enjoy boating in all of these lakes and click on pictures of the scenery. Retire to the hotel for a nice dinner and a night’s rest.

Day 3 – Nainital - Kausani (120km-4hrs)

After completing all the formalities, check out the hotel and go to Kausani – the next destination. The drive is a scenic drive along the winding roads, with views of the surrounding hills, mountain streams and dense vegetation. On the way, you can visit Chubbatiya and Kalika in Ranikhet. The first of these is a mountain known for its botanical garden and apple orchards, while the vast golf course and Hindu temple. After exploring these two destinations, continue on your way to Kausani, a place famous for its picturesque beauty.

Kausani is a picturesque hill station located in the district of Bageshwar. This small hamlet is known for its stunning natural beauty and, most importantly, the vast panorama of the Himalayan Mountains painted in different colours of the sun. When you arrive at Kausani, check-in at the hotel and go to bed at night to get rid of fatigue.

Day 4 – Tour to Kausani

After breakfast In the morning, proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour that will take you to the venerable Baijnath Temple and the Kausani Tea Gardens. Baijnath is a small hamlet located a few kilometres away from the hill station and is famous for the association of ancient temples. The most important temple in the group is the Baijnath Temple – dedicated to Lord Shiva and his wife Parvati Devi. Next, explore the Kausani Tea Estate, where local guriyas are grown, processed and exported to various countries. Go through the greenery of these gardens and learn about the whole process of making tea. After a delightful day trip, return to the hotel, eat, and then have a good night’s sleep.

Day 5 - Kausani – Ranikhet (60km-2hrs)

After breakfast In the morning, check out the hotel and go to Ranikhet – a hill station and a cantonment. Ranikhet, widely known as the ‘Queen’s Meadow’, is in the hill district of Almora. It was used as a summer retreat by the British during the colonial period. Spread over two high ridges, this mountainous cantonment is blessed with the abundance of nature. Kumaoni is a beautiful destination located in the state of Uttarakhand. Temples, Colonial Institutions and Orchards Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and spend the rest of the day relaxing. Spend the night in your hotel room, refreshing.

Day 6 - Drive from Ranikhet to Delhi (approx 334km-9hrs)

Once you have a delicious breakfast, check out the hotel and complete the formal treats. Then, head to Delhi airport to board flight home. The tour ends.

  1.       Air Fare / Train fare with taxes until specified in the Cost Inclusions.
  2.       COVID test costs, if required by the destination of your visit.
  3.       Vehicles quoted in the package will only cover Sightseeing / Places as mentioned in the itinerary and are not at Disposal, until specified. Extra usage of vehicles other than sightseeing mentioned in the Inclusion, will be charged extra.
  4.       Travel Insurance and Meals other than those not specified in the above “cost includes”.
  5.       Any expenses of Personal nature such as Mini bar items, Optional Tours, laundry, telephone calls, tips & gratuity, mineral water, soft & hard drinks, rafting, rock climbing, paragliding, joy ride (Toy Train), portage etc not forming the part of the given itinerary.
  6.       Entrance Fees & Guide charges, until not included in “Cost Includes”.
  7.       Any cost arising due to natural calamities such as landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), flight delays, on tour changes etc (to be borne by the client, which is directly payable on the spot).
  8.       Any increase in taxes or fuel price OR seasonal surcharges (due to festivals / events at the place of visit), leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure. 
  9.       Any on-tour changes / last minute changes while on tour, will be charged extra. Applicable cancellations will be levied in case of last minute cancellations as per hotel policy.
  10.       5.00% Govt. Service Tax.
  11.       Anything which is not mentioned in Cost Inclusions.

  1.       Standard Check in time for major Hotels is 1200hrs and Check out time is 1100hrs. And the rooms quoted unless specified are all based on Standard category Rooms by default and until it is specified in the above “cost includes”.
  2.       If at all the given hotel is not available then a hotel at par will be offered.
  3.       The above quote is based on as of date pricing. Any increase in the airfare / hotel cost due to seasonality, tax change, availability on the date of confirmation – will be duly charged. 
  4.       For the confirmation of tour package, we would require a minimum deposit of 30% of the total tour cost quoted to you, balance to be settled at least 15 Days prior to your departure, thereafter the clearance of payments – accordingly the confirmation vouchers will be handed over to you upon receiving 100% payments.
  5.       Prices are valid for the stated travel period and are of defined validity, any change in the dates or number of passengers will lead to re-costing.
