Our European Private Tours are designed for the individual travellers who wish to tour Europe in style and luxury.

This is a very exclusive way of discovering Europe. You have the choice of touring in a Saloon Car for up to 2 pax or in a Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV) for 3-7 Pax. Our Experienced Chauffeurs will take care of all your needs for the duration of the tour. All Sightseeing Tours are on a Private Basis and you will have an English Speaking Guide or any other language that you may require for all your Guided Tours.

Your Chauffeurs will offer you the greatest degree of flexibility as he/she will be able to accommodate your needs and changes to your schedule even on short notice.

All our vehicles are fully air- conditioned, constantly maintained and are of the highest standards. All Chauffeurs are fluent in English (some other languages also possible) and have extensive experience in touring knowledge of Europe.

Vehicles will be at your disposal from 0900hrs to 2000hrs daily. You may take regular stops and breaks at your leisure whenever or travel to places you would like to visit nearby.

Full Day Guided Tour of Loch Ness Tour. Explore the beautiful Scottish Highlands, discover majestic Urquhart Castle and take a monster cruise on Loch Ness. We leave Edinburgh behind we head towards Stirling with its ancient castle then stop for morning coffee stop at Kilmahog. Next it’s Rob Roy Country and dramatic Rannoch Moor before arriving at the Weeping Glen – Glen Coe, the infamous site of the 1692 Massacre of the resident MacDonald by Government troops of the Campbell Clan. After a short drive we arrive at Fort William which sits in the shadow of Ben Nevis, Britain’s highest mountain.

Full Day Guided Tour of Highland Glens, Castles and Whiskey Tour – we start the tour and make our way to the Kingdom of Fife and our first stop of the day at Dunfermline Abbey and Palace. The great abbey of Dunfermline (optional) was founded in the 11th century by Queen Margaret and the foundations of the original building lie under the stunning 12th century Romanesque style nave. The Abbey Church is the last resting place of many Scottish kings and queens including the great freedom fighter Robert the Bruce.

 We leave Edinburgh we travel across the Forth Road Bridge into the Kingdom of Fife. Our scenic coastal route takes us round the East Neuk of Fife, calling at Anstruther, a fishing village, also famous for the best “Fish & Chips” in Scotland. When we arrive in St. Andrews you have three hours at leisure to explore the town, from the ruins of the 13th Century Castle to Scotland’s Oldest University.

Itinerary

Day 1 Edinburgh

Meet and greet upon arrival and transfer to your hotel. Check in Hotel (1400hrs). Rest of the day free to explore Edinburgh on your own. Overnight at Hotel

Day 2 Edinburgh

Breakfast at Hotel, today we proceed for a Morning Guided City Tour of Edinburgh with a visit to Edinburgh Castle. (Admission Included). In the afternoon we will proceed to Glasgow for a Guided Panoramic City Tour. In the evening return to Edinburgh. Overnight at Hotel

Day 3 Edinburgh

Breakfast at Hotel, Full Day Guided Tour of Loch Ness Tour. Explore the beautiful Scottish Highlands, discover majestic Urquhart Castle and take a monster cruise on Loch Ness. After lunch there is time for a photo stop at Spean Bridge before we enter the scenic beauty of the famous Great Glen, a landscape of soaring mountains and shimmering lochs. Our journey follows the route of the Caledonian Canal to Loch Ness and the impressive ruins of Urquhart Castle. The Castle provides a superb vantage point to see the deepest part of the loch. Here you can enjoy an optional visit to the castle and take a short cruise on the loch. On our homeward journey, we pass by Inverness then enter the wild beauty of the Cairngorm National Park. Our descent through the Grampian Mountains takes us into scenic Perthshire. We’ll stop for refreshments in the heart of “Big Tree Country”. The last part of our tour takes us through the ancient Kingdom of Fife to the famous Forth Rail Bridge and the conclusion of our tour in Edinburgh. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 4 Edinburgh

Breakfast at Hotel. Full Day Guided Tour of Highland Glens, Castles and Whiskey Tour – we start the tour and make our way to the Kingdom of Fife and our first stop of the day at Dunfermline Abbey and Palace. The great abbey of Dunfermline (optional) was founded in the 11th century by Queen Margaret and the foundations of the original building lie under the stunning 12th century Romanesque style nave. The Abbey Church is the last resting place of many Scottish kings and queens including the great freedom fighter Robert the Bruce. We continue our tour through beautiful Glen Devon and pass the famous Gleneagles Hotel, the venue for the 2014 Ryder Cup. The attractive spa town of Crieff is the location of quaint Glenturret Malt Whiskey Distillery (optional), the home of the Famous Grouse. You can get a behind-the-scenes tour of the distillery with an opportunity for a tasting and visit to the shop, a must for any whiskey connoisseur. Select a tasty dish from the lunch menu in the restaurant or take a stroll in the distillery’s extensive grounds. Next we venture into the Highlands taking the picturesque route through the “Sma Glen” and Strathbaan. Here the scenery takes on a rugged splendour, which is a fine introduction to the Highlands of Scotland. The picturesque villages of Dunkeld and Birnam are set on opposite banks of the River Tay in the heart of Highland Perthshire and make a very pleasant stop. There’s an opportunity for a gentle stroll when we stop at The Hermitage, an impressive wooded gorge. A pleasant walk will reward us with views an 18th Century folly overlooking the dramatic Falls of Black Linn. After our leisurely stroll we head southwards and travel through the undulating hills towards Perth and then through the Kingdom of Fife. Watch out for Loch Leven, forever linked to the tragic story of Mary, Queen of Scots. Enjoy fine views of the Firth of Forth and the Forth Bridges when we make our last stop of the day in pretty South Queensferry. It’s a short drive back to Edinburgh. Overnight at Hotel

Day 5 Edinburgh – St Andrews – Edinburgh

Breakfast at Hotel, We leave Edinburgh we travel across the Forth Road Bridge into the Kingdom of Fife. After we have enjoyed ourselves in this fascinating town, we make our way to South Queensferry. This small town dates back to the 13th century. Here you will view the famous bridges and can marvel at the great engineering feat of the Forth Rail Bridge, the largest cantilever bridge in the world. Later return to Edinburgh. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 6 Edinburgh

Breakfast at Hotel, Day free at leisure to explore Edinburgh or surrounding areas, Overnight at Hotel.

Day 7 Edinburgh

Breakfast at Hotel. Day free at leisure until departure transfer to Edinburgh Airport or Train Station for your onward journey. (Private Transfer).

What’s Included in Tour Price

 

Hotel Accommodation: Prices per person are based on minimum 2 people travelling together.

 

Breakfast will be Continental in most hotels and Buffet in some hotels. Normally for a Silver Category it will be full breakfast except in London where it can be Continental Breakfast.

 

All included train travel will be in Standard Class and air travel will be in Economy Class normally on Budget Carriers. For Air travel on Budget Carriers only 1 Piece of checked in baggage of 15kg will be permitted on your flights. Additional Baggage or additional weight will be charged at the airport. Cruise will be based on Inside Cabins (2 to a Cabin-Bunk Beds) as mentioned in the program.

 

All Sightseeing tours are on Seat in Coach Basis and in most cities you will have to make your own to the departure point. In some cities you will be picked up from your hotel or the nearest pick up point.

 

When booking triple rooms please note that the third bed is based on sharing the existing bedding (two beds) in a twin-bedded standard room or maybe a “roll-away” bed. Availability of triple rooms is limited. Substitute hotels may be used at certain times and will be of similar standard whenever possible. Please note that single rooms in Europe may be smaller than twin-bedded rooms.

What’s Not Included in the Tour Price

 

 

 

         

 

Air fares to and from Europe, airport taxes, passport and visa fees, insurance, city taxes at hotels, laundry, phone calls, beverages, meals not detailed in the itinerary, tips to motor-coach drivers and local city guides, items of a personal nature, excess baggage, optional excursions.

 

Reservations and Payments

 

All reservations are to be booked in advance. In case any reservation is booked less than 30 days in advance we might have to charge a surcharge in case due to the difference in train and airfare within Europe.

 

All reservations once confirmed must be paid a deposit of 25% of the total tour fare within 2 days of reservations if booked earlier than 45days prior to arrival date.

 

Balance payment for the tour must be paid at least 45days in prior to arrival date. In the event full payment is not received 45days prior arrival we reserve the right to charge a surcharge for additional train or airfares if any in the reservations.

 

If reservations are done less than 45days in advance than once reservations is confirmed we require full payment within 2 days of reservations.

We reserve the right to cancel the reservation and apply cancellation charges should payments not be received within the above specified periods.

 

Any special meal requirements will be made on a REQUEST basis only. We cannot GUARANTEE special meal requests nor will it assume any responsibility or liability if passengers’ special meal requests are not fulfilled.

 

Travel Documents

 

Travel documents, including any air tickets and instructions for joining your tour in Europe will be sent to you approximately 7 days prior to tour departure provided full payment has been received. If you’re leaving home earlier, ask your Travel Agent to request travel documents in good time.

Cancellations, Refunds and Booking Changes

 

Notice of cancellation must be made in writing either by email or fax directly to us . A fee of Euro 50 per person will be charged for any revision or alteration made to a reservation after the booking is confirmed unless the change increases the value of the booking. A change of tour date or tour itinerary within 21 days of tour departure will be treated as a cancellation, and normal cancellation fees will apply except when the change is to an earlier tour departure of equivalent or greater value in which case a Euro 30 per person amendment fee will be charged. The following scale of charges will apply when notice of cancellation is given after the booking is confirmed.

 

Up to 21 days prior to start of tour: Euro 100 per person

14 Days to 20 Days prior to start of tour: 30% of tour fare

7 Days to 14 Days prior to start of tour: 50% of tour fare

 

1 Day to 6 Days prior to start of tour: 100% of tour fare

 

General Information and Conditions

 

Tour Prices: Are based on costs and exchange rates as at 11th Jan 2019. Should these costs change, a surcharge may be made on the price of your tour. No surcharges in respect of cost or currency fluctuations will be made once payment for the deposit of your tour is received. This guarantee excludes fuel surcharges and does not apply to any taxes, charges or levies imposed by any government or their agencies. In exchange for these guarantees, no refund will be made if costs are reduced.

 

Itinerary Variations: THE TRAVCO in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control make changes necessary, we reserve the right to vary itineraries and to substitute hotels.

Tour Cancellation: THE TRAVCO reserves the right to cancel or re-schedule any tour departure in accordance with operating requirements or circumstances beyond its control.

THE TRAVCO Global Limited is not responsible for any other travel arrangements affected due to our cancellations. Responsibility

THE TRAVCO referred to as the Operators, are the agents for THE TRAVCO we have empowered the

Operators on its behalf to undertake the following duties:

 

The Operators shall be responsible to the passenger for supplying the services and accommodations described in this program, except where such services cannot be supplied or the itinerary used is changed due to delays or other causes of whatever kind or nature beyond the control of the Operators. In such circumstances, the Operators will do their best to supply comparable services, accommodations and itineraries and there shall be no refund in this connection.

 

This program represents the entire agreement between the passenger and the above-mentioned Operators.

 

In the absence of their own negligence, neither the Operators nor their agents or co-operating organizations shall be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitution of equipment or any act or omission whatsoever by air carriers, hotels, transportation companies, or any other persons providing any of the services and accommodations to passengers including any results thereof, such as changes in services or accommodations necessitated by same. Nor shall they be liable for injury, illness or death, or for any damages or claims whatsoever arising from loss, negligence or delay from the act, error, or negligence of any person not their direct employee or under their exclusive control. All baggage and personal belongings are at all times at the passenger’s own risk. Baggage Insurance is recommended. The carriers, hotels and other suppliers who provide services on tour are independent contractors; they are not agents, employees or servants of the Operators or their associated companies. The Operators are not responsible for any criminal conduct by third parties.

 

Where the passenger occupies a motor coach seat fitted with a safety belt, neither the Operators nor their agents or co-operating organizations will be liable for any injury, illness or death or for any damages or claims whatsoever arising from any accident or incident, if the safety belt is not being worn at the time of such accident or incident.

 

Transportation companies, airlines etc. are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on-board planes, transportation or conveyances. The passenger contracts in use by the airlines or transportation companies when used shall constitute the sole contract between the airline, transportation company and passenger or purchaser of this tour and the Operators assume no responsibility in this connection. Enrolment in and payment for a tour shall constitute agreement and acceptance by the passenger of the terms and conditions set forth in this program which cannot be varied except in writing by an officer of the Company. All matters arising are subject to English law.

 

Every effort is made to ensure the program accuracy, however THE TRAVCO cannot be held responsible for printing or typographical errors, or errors arising from unforeseen circumstances.

 

 

 

COST EXCLUDES:

 

  1.       Air Fare / Train fare with taxes until specified in the Cost Inclusions.
  2.       COVID test costs, if required by the destination of your visit.
  3.       Vehicles quoted in the package will only cover Sightseeing / Places as mentioned in the itinerary and are not at Disposal, until specified. Extra usage of vehicles other than sightseeing mentioned in the Inclusion, will be charged extra.
  4.       Travel Insurance and Meals other than those not specified in the above “cost includes”.
  5.       Any expenses of Personal nature such as Mini bar items, Optional Tours, laundry, telephone calls, tips & gratuity, mineral water, soft & hard drinks, rafting, rock climbing, paragliding, joy ride (Toy Train), portage etc not forming the part of the given itinerary.
  6.       Entrance Fees & Guide charges, until not included in “Cost Includes”.
  7.       Any cost arising due to natural calamities such as landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), flight delays, on tour changes etc (to be borne by the client, which is directly payable on the spot).
  8.       Any increase in taxes or fuel price OR seasonal surcharges (due to festivals / events at the place of visit), leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure. 
  9.       Any on-tour changes / last minute changes while on tour, will be charged extra. Applicable cancellations will be levied in case of last minute cancellations as per hotel policy.
  10.       5.00% Govt. Service Tax.
  11.       Anything which is not mentioned in Cost Inclusions.

 

Note: Hotels are subject to availability until confirmed.

 

Quote does not mean confirmation of the booking. A line of confirmation is required to enable us to hold the booking after due advances are made. The car offered in the tour is not at disposal, it will cover points as per the itinerary and for any deviation, the cost of extra Kms needs to be settled directly with the driver on tour itself.

 

IMPORTANT NOTES :

 

  1.       Standard Check in time for major Hotels is 1200hrs and Check out time is 1100hrs. And the rooms quoted unless specified are all based on Standard category Rooms by default and until it is specified in the above “cost includes”.
  2.       If at all the given hotel is not available then a hotel at par will be offered.
  3.       The above quote is based on as of date pricing. Any increase in the airfare / hotel cost due to seasonality, tax change, availability on the date of confirmation – will be duly charged. 
  4.       For the confirmation of tour package, we would require a minimum deposit of 30% of the total tour cost quoted to you, balance to be settled at least 15 Days prior to your departure, thereafter the clearance of payments – accordingly the confirmation vouchers will be handed over to you upon receiving 100% payments.
  5.       Prices are valid for the stated travel period and are of defined validity, any change in the dates or number of passengers will lead to re-costing.
