Depart after breakfast for Cape Town travelling through the Klein Karoo and Calitzdorp, known for its extensive apricot orchards and port wines. Continue via Barrydale, Swellendam and Caledon to Cape Town − Caledon is one of the highest wheat producing areas in South Africa. A lunch stop will be made at Rouwil, a working sheep and wheat property. Later this aGernoon arrive in beautiful Cape Town. Dinner at leisure − there are a variety of restaurants to choose from in the Waterfront where your hotel is situated.
Depart after breakfast for Malmesbury and visit Cedric and Rene Stoch who farm Nguni cattle, the traditional African breed. They have the largest registered Nguni Stud in South Africa; with approximately 900 head. Malmesbury is situated in the Swartland, one of the major wheat production areas of South Africa. Continue on to Delheim Wine Estate and lunch in Stellenboch. This estate produces wine, dairy and mutton merino sheep.

Tau Game Lodge was built in 1995 overlooking a vast natural waterhole that attracts a variety of game including the Lion. Enjoy a late aGernoon game drive with “sun−downers” in the bush.
The day commences with an early morning game drive, followed by a well−deserved breakfast. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax at the pool or perhaps go on a game walk. Late in the aGernoon a further game drive in search of the “BIG FIVE”
− animals such as the lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo!
After an early breakfast, travel in an easterly direction via Zeerust and Lichtenburg to Bothaville and arrive late aGernoon. Bothaville is a small town but known as the “maize capital” and the head ofice of Grain South Africa is situated. This aGernoon you will spend time on the farm of your farm stay hosts. Zeerust is known for its cattle ranches, wheat, maize, tobacco and citrus fruit as well as Fluorite and Chromite mining − the largest pure red diamond was found in the region. Enjoy dinner on the farm with your hosts this evening.
Most of today is spent at Nampo, the largest and most important agricultural show in South Africa, held at a site near Bothaville. All aspects of South African agriculture are represented here − truly a golden opportunity to meet the South African farming community in very convivial circumstances and share ideas. Naturally some prize stock will be on show. Return to your farm stay for the evening.

If weather permits a lunch stop will be made at Tstsikama National Park − Tstsikama means “ water begin” an explanation borne out by the high rainfall and the occurrence of many rivers.

Later return to Cape Town via Simonstown with a stop at Boulders to visit the penguin colony. Return to your hotel later this aGernoon and enjoy the evening free to relax.
