Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival in Delhi

Upon arrival at New Delhi International Airport you receive warm welcome from a representative of DTravco. Thereafter you would be transferred to your pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 02: Delhi

Take breakfast at the hotel then embark on full day sightseeing of Delhi, the national capital of India. Major attractions for sightseeing in Delhi include Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Raj Ghat, National Museum, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutub Minar, Birla Mandir, Akshardham Temple, Lotus Temple, India Gate, President House, Parliament House, and several others. On time get back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 03: Delhi - Agra

Check out from the hotel in Delhi after having your breakfast and then drive to Agra, a historic city located on the bank of River Yamuna in the state of Uttar Pradesh. En-route visit the Akbar’s Tomb at Sikandra. Check in at the hotel upon arrival in historical city of Agra. Freshen up and after some relax proceed for sightseeing in Agra. Major attractions to see in this city include Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Both Mughal monuments are UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Taj Mahal, the symbol of love, is a beautiful mausoleum built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in the loving memory of his most darling wife, Mumtaz Mahal, after her death. Taj Mahal is India’s start tourist attractions and visited by millions of tourists every year. It is one of the most beautiful and visited buildings in the world. It is also one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 04: Agra - Jaipur

In the early morning visit the Taj Mahal to see its beauty at sunrise. Return to hotel for breakfast and then check out. Later, leave for Jaipur by road. Jaipur is the largest and capital city of Rajasthan state in India. It is lovingly known as the Pink City of India. It is also referred to as the Gems City. On arrival in Jaipur, check in at the pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 05: Jaipur

Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Then embark on full day sightseeing tour of Jaipur, the Pink City. Major attractions to see in this beautiful city include Amber Fort & Palace, Jaigarh Fort, Nahargarh Fort, Jal Mahal, City Palace, City Palace Museum, Govind Devji Temple, Galtaji, Hawa Mahal, Birla Mandir, Albert Hall Museum, Jantar Mantar Royal Observatory, and Raj Mandir Cinema. On time get back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 06: Jaipur - Udaipur

Take a very hearty breakfast and then check out from the hotel in Jaipur to make a delightful journey to your next destination Udaipur, the City of Lakes. Udaipur is one of the most beautiful cities in Rajasthan and India. It is lovingly called with several nicknames such as City of Lakes, City of Dawn, Kashmir of Rajasthan, White City, City of Palaces, and Venice of East. Upon arrival in the beautiful city of Udaipur, check in at the pre-booked hotel. Spend rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 07: Udaipur

Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Then embark on full day sightseeing tour of Udaipur, the City of Lakes and Palaces. Major attractions include Lake Pichola, Lake Palace, City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Saheliyon Ki Bari, Monsoon Palace, Fateh Prakash Palace, etc. In the evening enjoy delightful boat ride on Lake Pichola. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 08: Udaipur - Kochi (Cochin) (via Mumbai)

Take a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Get transferred to Udaipur Airport to board the flight for Mumbai and then connecting flight to Kochi in Kerala. Upon arrival at Kochi Airport, get transferred to your pre-booked hotel by our representative. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 09: Kochi (Cochin)

Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Then proceed for Kochi sightseeing tour covering key attractions like Fort Kochi, St Francis Church, Mattancherry Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Jews Street, Spice Market, Hill Palace, Bolgatty Palace, and Chinese Fishing Nets. On time get back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 10: Kochi (Cochin) - Periyar

Take hearty breakfast and then check out from the hotel in Cochin. Make a delightful drive to Periyar and check in at the pre-booked hotel upon arrival there. Freshen up and relax. Later make spice plantation tour. In the evening enjoy boat ride on the Periyar Lake for wildlife viewing. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 11: Periyar - Kumarakom

In morning, enjoy boat ride on Periyar Lake for wildlife viewing and birding. Periyar National Park and Wildlife Sanctuary is one of finest tiger reserves and elephant reserves in India. Return to hotel for breakfast and then check out. Later drive to Kumarakom, a popular backwater tourism destination in the state of Kerala. Check in at the hotel. Freshen up and relax. Spend rest of the day at leisure to experience the beautiful backwaters and lakes of Kumarakom. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 12: Kumarakom - Houseboat

After breakfast, get transferred to the boat jetty to board the overnight houseboat cruise on the breathtakingly beautiful backwaters. The houseboat cruise sails on the serene water of beautiful backwaters and passes through palm-fringed canals, rivers, lagoons, inlets and several other beautiful water bodies. Dinner and overnight will be onboard the houseboat.

Day 13: Houseboat (Kumarakom) - Kochi (Cochin) - Mumbai

Disembark the houseboat at Kumarakom and then drive to Kochi, the Queen of the Arabian Sea. Get transferred to Kochi Airport to board flight for Mumbai. Upon arrival at Mumbai Airport, DTravco representative will transfer you to the pre-booked hotel. Freshen up and relax. Later proceed for Mumbai sightseeing tour. Mumbai, the capital city of Indian state of Maharashtra, has lots to offer its visitors. Major attractions include Gateway of India, Marine Drive, Prince of Wales Museum, and Mani Bhawan. On time get back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 14: Mumbai - Onward

Breakfast will be at the hotel. Spend rest of the day until the time comes for leaving Mumbai. Pack your bag and baggage. A representative from DTravco will on time transfer you to the Mumbai Airport. Board flight for your home/onward destination with sweet memories of Classical North India and Kerala Tour. The tour concludes.

COST EXCLUDES:

 

  1.       Air Fare / Train fare with taxes until specified in the Cost Inclusions.
  2.       COVID test costs, if required by the destination of your visit.
  3.       Vehicles quoted in the package will only cover Sightseeing / Places as mentioned in the itinerary and are not at Disposal, until specified. Extra usage of vehicles other than sightseeing mentioned in the Inclusion, will be charged extra.
  4.       Travel Insurance and Meals other than those not specified in the above “cost includes”.
  5.       Any expenses of Personal nature such as Mini bar items, Optional Tours, laundry, telephone calls, tips & gratuity, mineral water, soft & hard drinks, rafting, rock climbing, paragliding, joy ride (Toy Train), portage etc not forming the part of the given itinerary.
  6.       Entrance Fees & Guide charges, until not included in “Cost Includes”.
  7.       Any cost arising due to natural calamities such as landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), flight delays, on tour changes etc (to be borne by the client, which is directly payable on the spot).
  8.       Any increase in taxes or fuel price OR seasonal surcharges (due to festivals / events at the place of visit), leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure. 
  9.       Any on-tour changes / last minute changes while on tour, will be charged extra. Applicable cancellations will be levied in case of last minute cancellations as per hotel policy.
  10.       5.00% Govt. Service Tax.
  11.       Anything which is not mentioned in Cost Inclusions.

The car offered in the tour is not at disposal, it will cover points as per the itinerary and for any deviation, the cost of extra Kms needs to be settled directly with the driver on tour itself.

 

IMPORTANT NOTES :

 

  1.       Standard Check in time for major Hotels is 1200hrs and Check out time is 1100hrs. And the rooms quoted unless specified are all based on Standard category Rooms by default and until it is specified in the above “cost includes”.
  2.       If at all the given hotel is not available then a hotel at par will be offered.
  3.       The above quote is based on as of date pricing. Any increase in the airfare / hotel cost due to seasonality, tax change, availability on the date of confirmation – will be duly charged. 
  4.       For the confirmation of tour package, we would require a minimum deposit of 30% of the total tour cost quoted to you, balance to be settled at least 15 Days prior to your departure, thereafter the clearance of payments – accordingly the confirmation vouchers will be handed over to you upon receiving 100% payments.
  5.       Prices are valid for the stated travel period and are of defined validity, any change in the dates or number of passengers will lead to re-costing.
