 Start the adventure by cycling 17 km to Mandalay’s outskirts passing by the ancient city of Amarapura and walk along the 200-year-old teak bridge that offers fabulous views of the surrounding landscapes. The ride continues along the Irrawaddy River to Mingun and after 33 km, be ready to welcome the stunning white Hsinbyume Pagoda and the Mingun Bell which weighs 90 tons and is considered the world’s largest ringing bell.

Day 1:- Upon your arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2:- Start the adventure by cycling 17 km to Mandalay’s outskirts passing by the ancient city of Amarapura.

Day 3:- Start the day with a 45 km ride from Mandalay to Pyin Si.

Day 4:- This morning is a scenic ride to Mt Popa

Day 5:- The morning starts with some relaxing cycling to the base of Mount Popa

Day 6:- Today is dedicated to some cultural cycling among the ancient Shwezigon Pagoda, known for its magnificent golden stupa, and Wetkyi-In Gubyaukgyi.

Day 7:- After breakfast, you will be transferred back to Nyaung Oo Airport.

Itinerary

Day 1

Upon your arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Explore the beautiful city and enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2

Start the adventure by cycling 17 km to Mandalay’s outskirts passing by the ancient city of Amarapura and walk along the 200-year-old teak bridge that offers fabulous views of the surrounding landscapes. The ride continues along the Irrawaddy River to Mingun and after 33 km, be ready to welcome the stunning white Hsinbyume Pagoda and the Mingun Bell which weighs 90 tons and is considered the world’s largest ringing bell. In the evening, take a rest and abandon yourself to the beautiful, tranquil scenery of the fishermen’s lives.

Day 3 :

Start the day with a 45 km ride from Mandalay to Pyin Si. A great opportunity to explore the breathtaking countryside and experiencing Burmese villagers’ life. Enjoy the exquisite local cuisine for lunch before heading to Meiktila by car.

Day 4

This morning is a scenic ride to Mt Popa where you will stay at the Popa Mountain Resort, a lovely hotel on top of a hill overlooking the country’s most famous nat shrine. Relax and enjoy the tranquil setting as you go for a swim or simply sit on your balcony and soak in the views.

Day 5

The morning starts with some relaxing cycling to the base of Mount Popa and a climb of almost 900 stairs to the top of Popa Taung Kalat. The view from the top is absolutely beautiful and the many local pilgrims on the route make the atmosphere surreal. In the afternoon, proceed to Bagan via Byatta Pan Sat Road to spend the night there. 

 

Day 6

Today is dedicated to some cultural cycling among the ancient Shwezigon Pagoda, known for its magnificent golden stupa, and Wetkyi-In Gubyaukgyi, a cave temple with exquisite mural paintings. The ride moves on to the colorful Nyaung Oo Market where you can enjoy some local shopping of amazing handicrafts. In the evening, visit Ananda, an architectural masterpiece with four impressive standing Buddhas. Continue to Ananda Okkyaung, one of the few surviving brick monasteries from the early Bagan period. Enjoy your final evening in Bagan, Myanmar.

Day 7

After breakfast, you will be transferred back to Nyaung Oo Airport for your international flight home or onwards.

    Exclusions for all tours

    •         Air Fare / Train fare with taxes until specified in the Cost Inclusions.
    •         COVID test costs, if required by the destination of your visit.
    •         Vehicles quoted in the package will only cover Sightseeing / Places as mentioned in the itinerary and is not at Disposal until specified. Extra usage of vehicles other than sightseeing mentioned in the Inclusion, will be charged extra.
    •         Travel Insurance and Meals other than those not specified in the above “cost includes”.
    •         Any expenses of personal nature such as Minibar items, Optional Tours, laundry, telephone calls, tips & gratuity, mineral water, soft & hard drinks, rafting, rock climbing, paragliding, joy ride (Toy Train), portage, etc not forming the part of the given itinerary.
    •         Entrance Fees & Guide charges, until not included in “Cost Includes”.
    •         Any cost arising due to natural calamities such as, landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), flight delays, on tour changes, etc (to be borne by the client, which is directly payable on the spot).
    •         Any increase in taxes or fuel price OR seasonal surcharges (due to festival/events at the place of visit), leading to an increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect before departure. 
    •         Any on-tour changes/last-minute changes while on tour will be charged extra. Applicable cancellations will be levied in case of last-minute cancellations as per hotel policy.
    •         5.00% Govt. Service Tax
    •         5.00% TCS as applicable (as per Government Regulations)
    •         Anything which is not mentioned in Cost Inclusions.
