Ewige Wand Circle (recommended): 17.5 kilometers, which is 5 hours harder than other holiday trails, but a round-trip route worth a visit takes you up the mountain, through forests and meadows full of flowers. Rathlucken Hütte, then head to the impressive panoramic balcony of Ewige Wand, from which you can enjoy the magnificent views of the mountains and valleys. If necessary, you can walk back along the river or take a bus.Circular route from Bad Goisern: 8.5 km, 2.5 hours. If you want something softer, follow the Traun River through the forest to the charming village of Bad Goisern, and then return to St. Agatha through the meadows. 

Take a boat across the lake to historic Hallstatt (paid on site).Look, you can enjoy the best view of the city, and you can see the house on the top of the mountain, obviously there is another one between them. Cross the lake from there)

ARRIVE STOCKHOLM; Today you have free time to explore the picturesque city of Stockholm. Often referred to as the ‘Venice of the North, thanks to its location on 14 islands with its infinite presence of water and impressive views stretching across the Baltic water. Stroll through 13th century Gamla Stan, and soak up its medieval atmosphere as you wander through its cobblestone streets past narrow, colorful houses of yesteryear.

Day 1

Today you have free time to explore the picturesque city of Stockholm. Often referred to as the ‘Venice of the North, thanks to its location on 14 islands with its infinite presence of water and impressive views stretching across the Baltic water. Stroll through 13th century Gamla Stan, and soak up its medieval atmosphere as you wander through its cobblestone streets past narrow, colorful houses of yesteryear. Or visit the mighty 17th century Vasa Ship and learn about its fascinating history. Overnight Stockholm. Meals included: None

 

Day 2

After a night in Stockholm, you take a short train journey to Gnesta, where you start your cycling adventure, passing lakes and rolling countryside to Trosa, a genuine Swedish village where colorful wooden houses line the river as it winds through the village towards the Baltic sea. En route pass by Tullgarn Palace, an 18th-century royal palace located on the Baltic sea as well scenic Lake Sillen and beautiful views across the countryside from Torsåker Church. Overnight Trosa. Cycle distance: 35-46 km. Train: 1 hr. Meals included: None

Day 3 :

From Trosa you cycle south following the coast, passing impressive 17th-century Nynäs Manor where you can rest your legs and enjoy a guided tour or hike the trails in the manor house grounds. Then it’s back on the bikes and you cycle small country lanes to Nykoping through the varied countryside; evergreen forests, meadows, and lakes. En route, you can also stop at Sandvik beach for a quick swim in the sea before you continue your journey on to the harbor town of Nykoping, a historic city with a vibrant harbor. You also have the option today to detour the very beautiful Stendorren Nature Reserve, an archipelago recognized for its distinct feeling of peace and tranquillity. Here you hike across the many islands using their intriguing system of suspension bridges. Overnight Clarion Collection. Cycle distance: 73 km. Meals included: Breakfast & dinner.

Day 4

Today you enjoy a free day in Nykoping and have many options to keep you busy. Stay local and visit the sights in Nykoping including the remains of Nykoping castle and stroll along the banks of the Nykoping river which winds its way through the town and beyond. From Nykoping, you can enjoy a cycle tour to Koppartorp, a district rich in culture and history where you can visit the local folklore museum, church dating back to 1620, and mining museum. Don’t miss a hike up nearby Simonberget where you will be rewarded with fantastic mile-wide views. Alternatively visit Femore Fort, a military battery used during the Cold War beautifully perched on the end of the Femore peninsula outside Oxelosund. There is also the option to enjoy a change of scenery on board a boat tour to explore Oxelosund’s islands. If you missed Stendorren yesterday you can also opt to take the bus back to the reserve and enjoy island hopping thanks to its many suspension bridges. Overnight Nykoping, Cycle distance: 36-43 km. Day 5

Leave the city behind and look forward to two days enjoying the Sormland countryside at its best with rolling hills, lakes, and dense forest. Cycle to Vadsbro via Blacksta Vineyard, Sweden’s first winery and vineyard with grape varieties such as Vidal, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. En route you pass by scenic sandy beaches and the delightful Ekenas cafe. Settle into your overnight accommodation at the former vicarage with a private pool and gardens. Overnight Vadsbro. Cycle distance: 55 km. Meals included: Breakfast & dinner

 

Day 6

Today you pass Hedenlunda manor and Malmkoping, famed for being the home of Allan Karlsson from ‘The 100-year-old man who climbed out of a window and disappeared.’ After passing many more lakes you arrive at Skottvangs Mine, a former iron ore mine, with a mining museum and exhibits in a picturesque setting. Overnight in genuine Swedish wooden cabins deep in the woods. Enjoy the simple life and outstanding gardens of this oasis. Overnight. Cycle distance: 67 km. Meals included: Breakfast & dinner

Day 7 :

Today’s trip takes you around beautiful Lake Klammingen with bathing opportunities and viewpoints. You end in a charming and lively Mariefred village dominated by the mighty Gripsholm Castle. Overnight. Cycle distance: 54 km. Meals included: Breakfast

Day 8 :

Today you are free to decide how you prefer to spend your day. Either take a half-day cycle trip to Taxinge manor, famed for its marvelous display of cakes. Alternatively, enjoy the charms of Mariefred village with its colorful wooden houses and lakeside location. Ride the historic steam train or visit Gripsholm Castle. Complete your day with a relaxing trip aboard the steamboat back to Stockholm. Overnight Stockholm. Meals included: Breakfast. Option: steam train to Taxinge Manor. Option: cycle from Mariefred to Taxinge manor house and return, 30 km. Steamboat from Mariefred to Stockholm (3.5 hr).

Day 9 :

    •         Travel Insurance and Meals other than those not specified in the above “cost includes”.
    •         Any expenses of Personal nature such as Mini bar items, Optional Tours, laundry, telephone calls, tips & gratuity, mineral water, soft & hard drinks, rafting, rock climbing, paragliding, joy ride (Toy Train), portage etc not forming the part of the given itinerary.
    •         Entrance Fees & Guide charges, until not included in “Cost Includes”.
    •         Any cost arising due to natural calamities such as, landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), flight delays, on tour changes etc (to be borne by the client, which is directly payable on the spot).
    •         Any increase in taxes or fuel price OR seasonal surcharges (due to festival / events at the place of visit), leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure. 
    •         Any on-tour changes / last minute changes while on tour, will be charged extra. Applicable cancellations will be levied in case of last minute cancellations as per hotel policy.
