The picturesque beauty of Nainital and the old world charm have become a popular getaway for city dwellers. Ranikhet, on the other hand, is quieter and offers an excellent view of the snow-capped peaks. A trip to its destinations, such as Nainital Kausani Ranikhet are sure to offer you an unforgettable experience. While the dazzling lakes, high hills, rolling  meadows and sparkling streams will surely enchant you, the religious sites will make you bow your head with respect.

The Kumaon region in Uttarakhand is one of the most popular tourist destinations in India. It lies like a jewel in the Himalayas with wonderful places like the Nainital, Ranikhet, Jim Corbett National Park and Almora. Familiarize yourself with the flora and fauna of Jim Corbett National Park, then take a trip to Ranikhet. Explore the glamour of Ranikhet and visit Almora the next day. Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Delhi Drive from Delhi to Corbett (approx. 250km-7.5hrs)

When you arrive at Delhi airport/train station on your Honeymoon Tour to Uttarakhand, hop in the assigned vehicle and drive to Corbett National Park. Corbett National Park is among the oldest national parks in India. It is an ideal place for nature lovers and adorned with the beauty of flora and fauna. Upon arrival in Corbett, check-in at the hotel and relax and enjoy your free time.

Day 2: Trip to Corbett

After breakfast, start your journey to the charming Corbett National Park. The park is known as the first tiger reserve in India and is home to a variety of birds, reptiles, mammals, plants and shrubs. Go on a safari (prices apply) and explore the fauna and flora of the park.
High grass meadows, pure salt trees, bamboo, a variety of grasses, shrubs and green shisham form the green of the Corbett National Park. The park is home to tigers, leopards, bears, pigs, sambar deer, jackals, spotted deer, cheetahs, ducks, spotted eagles, woodpeckers and many other species. After spending a great time in the park, return to the hotel and stay overnight.

Day 3: Drive from Corbett to Ranikhet (130km-4hrs)

In the morning, check out the hotel and start your journey to another fascinating destination – the so-called “Queen’s Meadow” in Ranikhet. Get in your assigned vehicle and go to the location to experience its speciality. Upon arrival in Ranikhet, check-in at the hotel and relax in your free time. The calm and flowery beauty of this mountain station will entertain and fascinate you. Experience the calm atmosphere, the tall conifers, the green meadows and the natural beauty of this mountain station. Spend the night in the hotel and relax.

Day 4: Ranikhet - Kausani (60km-2hrs)

After completing all the formalities, check out the hotel and drive to Kausani – the next destination on your Kausani Honeymoon Tour. The ride is a scenic drive along the winding roads with a view of the surrounding hills, mountain streams and dense vegetation. On the way, you can visit Chubbatiya and Kalika in Ranikhet. The first is a mountain known for its botanical garden and apple orchards, while the huge golf course and Hindu temple. After exploring these two destinations, continue to Kausani, a place known for its picturesque beauty.

Kausani is a picturesque mountain station in the Bageshwar district. This small hamlet is known for its breathtaking natural beauty and above all for the wide panorama of the Himalayas, which is painted in different colours of the sun. When you arrive in Kausani, check-in at the hotel and go to bed at night to get rid of the tiredness.

Day 5: Kausani tour

After Breakfast In the morning, take a half-day sightseeing tour that takes you to the venerable Baijnath Temple and Kausani Tea Gardens. Baijnath is a small hamlet, which is only a few kilometres from the mountain station and is known for the union of old temples. The main temple in the group is the Baijnath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva and his wife Parvati Devi. Next, explore the Kausani Tea Estate, where local guriyas are grown, processed and exported to different countries. Walkthrough the green of these gardens and learn about the entire process of making tea. After a wonderful day out, return to the hotel, eat and sleep well.

Day 6: Kausani - Almora (55km-2hrs)

After a good breakfast, you leave the hotel and drive to Almora. Almora is a picturesque hill country in the northern state of Uttarakhand. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and spend your free time. You can take rest in your room or visit the Kasar Devi Temple, Zero Point, Kumaon Regimental Center Museum, Bright End Corner, Mahamrityunjay Temple and Tarikhet (leisure activities are not included in the package). Then back to the hotel for an overnight stay in Almora.

Day 7: Drive from Almora to Nainital (65km-2hrs)

Start your trip to Nainital after a delicious breakfast. Drive through the winding mountain road. When you reach Nainital, check-in at the hotel. You can visit Lake Naini, Naina Devi Temple, Nainital Zoo, Eco Cave Garden, Snow View Point and other treasures. From the Snow-View Point, you have a wonderful view of the snow-covered Himalayas. Spend the night in the hotel and relax.

Day 8: Nainital sightseeing

After the delicious breakfast, get ready for the view of the Nainital, known as the “Lake District”.
Get in your vehicle and drive to Hanuman Garhi, a popular religious centre and beautiful picnic area. Next, visit the three beautiful lakes Bhimatal, Nakuchiyatal and Sattal, which are 5 to 8 km away. The mild climate, the calm environment and the beautiful beauty of these lakes will attract your attention. You have the opportunity to do some fun activities like bird watching and boating. Spend the night in the hotel and relax.

Day 9: Drive from Nainital to Delhi (approx. 280km-7Hrs)

Today is the end of the Nainital Almora Honeymoon Tour. Refresh yourself and check out of the hotel in the morning. Board the assigned vehicle and return to the airport and Delhi station

COST EXCLUDES:

 

  1.       Air Fare / Train fare with taxes until specified in the Cost Inclusions.
  2.       COVID test costs, if required by the destination of your visit.
  3.       Vehicles quoted in the package will only cover Sightseeing / Places as mentioned in the itinerary and are not at Disposal, until specified. Extra usage of vehicles other than sightseeing mentioned in the Inclusion, will be charged extra.
  4.       Travel Insurance and Meals other than those not specified in the above “cost includes”.
  5.       Any expenses of Personal nature such as Mini bar items, Optional Tours, laundry, telephone calls, tips & gratuity, mineral water, soft & hard drinks, rafting, rock climbing, paragliding, joy ride (Toy Train), portage etc not forming the part of the given itinerary.
  6.       Entrance Fees & Guide charges, until not included in “Cost Includes”.
  7.       Any cost arising due to natural calamities such as landslides, road blockage, political disturbances (strikes), flight delays, on tour changes etc (to be borne by the client, which is directly payable on the spot).
  8.       Any increase in taxes or fuel price OR seasonal surcharges (due to festivals / events at the place of visit), leading to increase in cost on surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure. 
  9.       Any on-tour changes / last minute changes while on tour, will be charged extra. Applicable cancellations will be levied in case of last minute cancellations as per hotel policy.
  10.       5.00% Govt. Service Tax.
  11.       Anything which is not mentioned in Cost Inclusions.

  1.       Standard Check in time for major Hotels is 1200hrs and Check out time is 1100hrs. And the rooms quoted unless specified are all based on Standard category Rooms by default and until it is specified in the above “cost includes”.
  2.       If at all the given hotel is not available then a hotel at par will be offered.
  3.       The above quote is based on as of date pricing. Any increase in the airfare / hotel cost due to seasonality, tax change, availability on the date of confirmation – will be duly charged. 
  4.       For the confirmation of tour package, we would require a minimum deposit of 30% of the total tour cost quoted to you, balance to be settled at least 15 Days prior to your departure, thereafter the clearance of payments – accordingly the confirmation vouchers will be handed over to you upon receiving 100% payments.
  5.       Prices are valid for the stated travel period and are of defined validity, any change in the dates or number of passengers will lead to re-costing.
